Patricia Disney, the Former Wife of Roy Disney, Dies at 77

Patricia Disney, the first wife of Roy E. Disney, died on Friday of Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 77. Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger issued the following statement. “Her passing marks a sad milestone for the Disney family, and we will always remember her irrepressible spirit and dedication to our company. Patty was known for her kindness, outgoing nature and especially for her philanthropy and will be missed by all who knew her.”

Patricia and Roy E. Disney married in 1955 and divorced in 2007.
