First things first because it has to do with the tropics. I wasn’t going to mention this last week and it is STILL WAY far away but if the GFS model is right and this would be the second time this has happened so far out I am going to be amazed. Sometime around Father’s Day this particular model is setting its sights on Florida for what may or may not be “chris”. If you are traveling to Walt Disney World in the next two weeks you’ll want to keep an eye on the tropics – seriously.
That said today doesn’t look much better than yesterday which was a rather dismal day. Expect plenty of clouds with a really good chance at thunderstorms. Winds will gust possibly over 20 miles per hour. Expect highs in the mid 80s thanks to the clouds. It looks like it will remain unsettled through the weekend but chances diminish after today so things do start to look a little bit better. At this time of year you kind of always need to be ready for an afternoon thunderstorm.
