Walt Disney World Weather Report for June 25 from @WDW_Weather

What a miserable morning (AGAIN) throughout Walt Disney World.  As I type this (and I’m sorry I’m a little late but I have been helping cover Debby for a bunch of agencies), there is a Tornado Watch STILL in effect for Orlando until 2pm.  A tornado spawned from Debby has already taken one life so this is a threat to take seriously.

Debby as you well know from my Tweets this weekend has been problematic from the get go but essentially from when I was doing a newscast at 11pm on Saturday to when I did the next on Sunday at 6:30pm on Sunday … the entire track changed and the track officially KEEPS moving her east…(Bravo to the GFS model who had a really good handle on this from the get go).

The main threat remains flooding.  See it would have been nice if the original track verified because well parts of Texas could use some of that rain … most parts of Florida NOW do not need anymore and we are talking upwards of 10 inches.  So wherever you are reading this – if you see standing water in front of you in a car DO NOT CROSS IT!

As for Walt Disney World … hopefully your trip wasn’t this weekend or this week as things improve by the weekend.  If Debbie continues to shift east she could have a prolonged effect on WDW weather but for now we’ll say that the chance for showers and thundershowers get down to just about 40 percent (which is normal this time of year) by the time we get to Thursday.

Highs will be limited thanks to cloud cover today and be in the mid 80s today and tomorrow – as clouds part – temperatures will rise.

I’ll give a detailed look at the 4th coming up but I’m pretty focused on Debby right.
