Playbill.com confirms Disney’s Aladdin’s arrival to Broadway. The two-act production will feature music by Alan Menken, lyrics from the film by the late Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and a new book with lyrics by Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer, Elf). Theatre goers and Disney fans alike can look forward to this entirely new production beginning with previews on February 26, 2014, at the New Amsterdam Theatre followed by an official Broadway opening of March 20, 2014.
