is pleased to announce formation of the Academy of Disney Arts and Sciences.  This organization will be tasked to further the recognition and celebration of Disney across the globe.  The main responsibility of this body will be to host the Oddys.

This annual elegant celebration will recognize achievement in the realm of Disney during the previous calendar year.  The first ceremony will be held in 2015 to honor performance in 2014.  Further information about the ceremony’s date and categories will be announced at a future date.

Speaking on the announcement, co-founder and ADAS board member Doobie Moseley said, “Since’s inception in 1999, it’s been our #1 goal to form the ADAS and create the Oddy award. We are so proud to have achieved this goal in 15 short years and look forward to recognizing the best – and not so-best – Disney has to offer each year.”

The Oddy will be guided by strong governance and oversight, modeling itself on The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Golden Globes.  The  Oddy will be the leader in recognizing Disney arts and science.
