It was announced that Pepsi will be exclusively provide beverages to the Shanghai Disney Resort. This is the first time, in quite some time that Pepsi has been offered at a Disney park. Pepsi was the original sponsor of The Golden Horseshoe at Disneyland, but Coca-Cola has been the exclusive beverage partner at the parks for decades.
Coca-Cola responded to the news with this statement, “The Coca-Cola Company and The Walt Disney Company share a long-standing partnership that dates to the first Disney television show in 1950 and the first Disneyland theme park in 1955. Today, our global partnership with Disney is as strong as ever.”
