According to The Hollywood Reporter, the previously untitled Marvel film scheduled for May 6, 2016 is the third Captain America film. When Warner Bros delayed their Superman/Batman film to 2016 they slotted it in Marvel’s traditional release date. However, during press for Captain America: The Winter Soldier Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said he had no plans to back down from that date.
Previously it was reported that Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Anthony and Joe Russo will be returning to direct the third film in the Captain America franchise.
