Various reports indicate that Lupita Nyong’o is meeting with Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams for a role in the film. Nyong’o just wont the Academy Award for her role in 12 Years a Slave. There are no indications on what role she is being considered for.
Nyong’o was born in Mexico, raised in Kenya, and graduated from Yale University School of Drama. She had a role in the MTV series Shuga but she burst onto the scene with 12 Years a Slave, her feature debut.
Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled to be release December 18, 2015
