With the departure of Anne Sweeney, the LA Times is looking at the race to be Bob Iger’s successor. The article claims that the two front runners are CFO Jay Rasulo and Parks & Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs, but also indicates that an outsider may be considered.
One name that has come up is Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who is currently a director on Disney’s board.
Bob Iger’s contract is through June 2016. He has indicated that he intends to retire, however those plans might change.
