In a report from the New York Times, Disney Parks is launching a smart TV app to help guests plan their Disney destination vacation. The app is scheduled to launch today (3/27) on Samsung’s smart TV app store and in April on LG’s platform as well as Blu-Ray players.

Brad Baker, director of digital marketing for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, called smart TVs “a really interesting space for us, since there is now a new way for us to be able to tell our story.”

The app has a similar layout and design to Walt Disney World’s website and various My Disney Experience interfaces, but the app covers Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, Adventures By Disney, and Disney Vacation Club as well.
