Effective June 10, guests will need to go to Epcot to be transported to Typhoon Lagoon after 2pm. This means guests trying to get to Typhoon Lagoon at that time will first need to take a monorail or bus to Epcot and transfer to a bus headed to Typhoon Lagoon. It also means that all guests departing Typhoon Lagoon after 2pm will have to transfer at Epcot to get to their final destination. This change could have a big effect on guests staying at Epcot resorts as they do not currently have bus service to the front of Epcot. We do not have word if there is a contingency plan for these guests.
This change is due to construction related to Downtown Disney’s transformation into Disney Spring. There is currently no scheduled end date to this modification.
