Various reports indicate that director Rian Johnson is in talks to write and direct the next installment in the Star Wars saga film following J.J. Abrams’ work on Episode VII. Johnson is best know as the writer/director on the 2012 film Looper.
There is no word on what involvement Abrams and/or Bad Robot will have in Star Wars films following Epsiode VII.
Previously, Gareth Edwards and Josh Trank were announced as directing two of the three planed Star Wars spinoff films.
