According to various reports, Amazon has stopped pre-selling physical copies of upcoming Disney home video releases including Muppets Most Wanted, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Maleficent, and Million Dollar Arm. This is part of a stand-off between the two companies regarding the prices Amazon has to pay to the Studio to sell the titles. This is similar to a situation Amazon had with Warner Bros. earlier this year.
Even though Amazon has stopped pre-orders for physical discs, the titles remain available for preorder through Amazon’s Instant Video service.
