Various reports indicate that Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Trek Into Darkness) will be announced as Marvel’s pick to play Doctor Strange in the upcoming film. Doctor Strange does not have a release date, but Cumberbatch’s deal allows him to continue his role on Sherlock and performing in theater productions.
More information about the film is expected to be revealed at a special Marvel Studios presentation being held at the El Capitan Theatre tomorrow.
