As 2014 starts to come to a close, we are not slowing down at Hulu. We are continuing to add even more premium titles to the service that we know our viewers love to watch.
Today, we are excited to announce a new licensing agreement with the Disney-ABC Television Group that will give Hulu the exclusive subscription video on-demand rights to all episodes of Resurrection and Mistresses, as well as prior episodes of Lifetime’s Devious Maids.
ABC Studios produces some of the most compelling stories on television today, and its sophomore drama series,Resurrection, is a perfect example. With compelling mysteries woven into each episode, Resurrection is an addictive show and we are proud to be able to offer all episodes of the series exclusively to our Hulu subscribers.
Episodes of the critically acclaimed series Devious Maids are also now available to stream on Hulu with your Plus subscription. Subscribers can watch the entire first season, and all episodes from the second season will become available to stream next year ahead of its season three premiere on Lifetime in Summer 2015. In the category of soapy dramas—which our viewers love—this Eva Longoria-produced series hits the mark.
Hulu is also now your exclusive streaming destination to watch and catch up with all episodes of Mistressesahead of its season three premiere on ABC. The thrilling drama series was just picked up for its third season, which will premiere in Summer 2015 on ABC. All episodes from season one are available to stream now and season two will become available for Hulu subscribers to stream ahead of the season three premiere. New episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the day after they air on ABC.
We are also thrilled to announce that we’re adding over 750 library episodes from ABC Studios and ABC Family to Hulu, providing full seasons of a variety of popular series. Titles now available to stream include Melissa & Joey, Alias, Army Wives, Body of Proof, Twisted and Make It or Break It– and, for our younger viewers, we are adding Marvel animated series such as Spider-Man, X-Men and Iron Man: Armored Adventures.
This new licensing agreement with Disney-ABC Television Group brings even more great shows to Hulu’s growing library of content and we are proud to add an array of exclusive & hit titles to the platform for our subscribers to enjoy this holiday season.
