According to The Hollywood Reporter, Felicity Jones has been cast as the lead in the first Star Wars stand-alone film. The film will be directed by Godzilla’s Gareth Edwards and will be released December 16, 2016. The plot and characters of the film have yet to be revealed.
Felicity Jones has received attention as of late for her role as Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything.
