When it was announced that the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer would premiere during ESPN’s Monday Night Football, some fan were understandably confused. Sure ESPN is part of the Disney family as is Star Wars, so it seems logical that some good old fashioned synergy would be at work. However, the demographic crossover is admittedly pretty low.
Appearing on the Mike and Mike show on ESPN radio this morning, comedian Frank Caliendo poked a bit of fun at the Star Wars/sports crossover by doing impressions of what some of the ESPN hosts would sound like discussing about the trailer. Check it out:
