Michael Galeota, best known for his role on Disney Channel’s The Jersey passed away yesterday. He was 31.
According to Us Weekly, Galeota was admitted to the hospital last week with abdominal pains. He was discharged on January 6th, though against doctors’ advice. He was found dead in his Glendale, California apartment by a friend on Sunday, January 10th.
The Jersey was a Disney Channel program that ran for three seasons starting in 1999. Galeota played Nick Lighter, a teen who, along with three of his friends, discovers a jersey that transports them into the bodies of different pro athletes.
