Magic Kingdom Launches Disney After Hours Program

Walt Disney World will offer a new after-hours event at the Magic Kingdom. For select nights in April and May, Guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for Disney After Hours. During Disney After Hours, Guests can enjoy Magic Kingdom for three extra hours. Offerings will include many of the most popular attractions and Character Greetings.

In addition ice cream novelties and bottled beverages are included during the event.

The event dates are April 14, 21, and 28 as well as May 5, 8, 12, and 19.

Guests will be able to enter the park at 7 p.m. and remain for three hours after the scheduled Magic Kingdom park closing. Currently the park is due to close to regular day guests at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. on the dates listed.

The price is $149 for all guests. To purchase tickets, guests may call 407-827-7185. They will also be available from DisneyWorld.com starting April 6.

This new offering does not replace Extra Magic Hours which offers two additional hours at the Magic Kingdom, and other parks, on select evenings for Walt Disney World resort guests. Extra Magic Hours is currently complimentary.

Previously, Walt Disney World offered E-Ride Nights which also offered 3 additional hours at the Magic Kingdom. The cost for those events were $12.72 with tax per Adult per night, and $10.60 with tax per Child 3-9. This previous event was last offered in 2004.
