Disney has announced that the nighttime experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including Rivers of Light, will not debut on April 22 as originally planned. No new date was given, but they said that further information about the new opening date will be announced in mid to late May.
It is rumored that senior leaders at Disney were not pleased with the progress being made on Rivers of Light, which caused the teams involved to need additional time to bring the project up to expectations.
