Phillipa Soo, who stars as Eliza Schuyler in the Broadway smash Hamilton, has been added to the list of talent lending their voices to Disney next animated classic Moana. According to Entertainment Weekly, Soo will play a villager of Moan’s home island, Motunui. This will mark her debut in the world of voiceover.
Incidentally, Soo’s co-star in Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda, will be contributing music to the film. He was also recently confirmed to be starring in Mary Poppins Returns.
Moana opens in theatres November 23rd, 2016.
