UPDATE: The announcement has been made and Wreck-It Ralph 2 will hit theatres March 9th, 2018!

Today, The Walt Disney Animation Studios tweeted that they will be streaming “breaking news” tomorrow, Thursday, June 30th at 9 a.m. PDT on Facebook Live.
While some may have a few guesses of what it will involve, here is a shortlist of things we can safely rule out:
- Oliver and Even More Company
- John Lasseter to play a Hawaiian-shirted Baymax in a live-action Big Hero 6 adaptation
- Minnie finally replacing Mickey as studio icon (actually… that’s not exactly impossible)
- Moana’s Maui is getting a digital tummy tuck before the film’s debut
- Frozen 2 cancelled
