Following yesterday’s news that Thomas Doherty was cast as Captain Hook’s son, Disney has announced that Dylan Playfair will be portraying Gil, Gaston’s son, in Descendants 2.
According to IMDB, Dylan Playfair was born in the small town of Fort St. James BC, Canada into a hockey family. His father is a professional hockey coach for the Phoenix coyotes. The oldest of 3 boys, Dylan chose to pursue a career in film at the age of 18 after playing Jr. A Hockey in the BCHL for the Merritt Centennials. Dylan has studied acting in Vancouver and Los Angeles and Is a graduate of Vancouver Acting School.
