According to the post on Reddit, select theatres will offer special edition 3D glasses for the release of Rogue One this December. These glasses — clearly inspired by the iconic Storm Trooper helmets from the saga — will be offered in both white and black.
Last year Disney released a set of The Force Awakens 3D glasses:
Interestingly, that promotion was in partnership with Real D while the Rogue One image features the MasterImage logo — a direct competitor. In that case, it’s possible that a different set of cinemas will be offering the collector’s glasses this time around. As of now no further information is available.
