Today, Marvel and Sony released a sneak peek at the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming film, promising that the first full trailer will debut tomorrow on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. In the short clip, we not only see Tom Holland reprise his Spider-Man role following Captain America: Civil War but also see the return of another familiar face to the MCU: Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), Tony Stark’s bodyguard.
Although released by Sony, this is the first Spider-Man solo film to be produced by Marvel Studios. Given the extra involvement, Disney seems to be treating this release almost as their own. The fact that their using Jimmy Kimmel Live to debut the new trailer further exemplifies that.
