Disney World Updates App to Bring In Line with Other Destinations

Disney has redesigned the My Disney Experience mobile app to create a faster and more intuitive interface for guests visiting Walt Disney World. The redesigned app is already available for Android users. iOS users can expect it in the coming months.

The redesigned My Disney Experience mobile app for Android opens directly to the park map, with posted attraction wait times. Guests can swipe up on the Guest icon to display the next Resort, dining or FastPass+ reservation.

Wait times will appear immediately upon opening the mobile app in map view. When switching to list view, wait times will list from lowest to longest wait. Experiences that are closed for refurbishment or temporarily closed will appear at the bottom of the list.

Guests that have downloaded apps for other Disney Destinations such as the Disneyland Resort will notice that the new Walt Disney World app resembles the apps for the other locations.

The iOS version of My Disney Experience was also updated yesterday, but this update is just an update for Photo Pass editing capabilities
