A new experience featuring the “caring giants” of Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, the elephants, is now booking for reservations beginning March 12, 2017.
On March 12, 2017, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be launching the Caring for Giants tour focusing on how the park cares for their largest animals.
The tour is described as a unique, family-friendly backstage viewing experience of the park’s majestic African elephants. During this 60-minute tour guests will meet with dedicated animal care experts who provide for the care and wellness of our elephant herd. African cultural representatives will also be on hand to share stories of Disney’s conservation efforts dedicated to the preservation of wild populations throughout their homeland.
The tour costs $30 and is offered several times throughout the day. Guests must be at least 4 years old and those aged 4 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
