Recently, some of the major film sites got a chance to see Marvel Studios’ new digs on the Disney lot. While there, they had a chance to see the folks working on Marvel’s upcoming slate including studio president Kevin Feige. Here is what some of the highlights from The Hollywood Reporter.

Before Joss Whedon (Avengers) signed on the work on Batgirl, he called the folks at Marvel. Feige said that he didn’t have to do that, but it was nice of him to reach out.

Spider-Man will appear in Avengers 4 and a Homecoming sequel for Marvel, but they are not involved in Sony’s spinoff plans. That is all the current deal with Sony accounts for, but there could always be more.

James Gunn could extend relationship with Marvel beyond Guardians 3 due to his strength with the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe. Gunn revealed his involvement in the threequel earlier that day.

There are no plans for a Marvel produced R-rated movie. He says the success of Deadpool and Logan had more to do with being different than the rating.
