Walt Disney World Monorail Route Stops to Be Temporarily Modified on Select Days

Later this month, Walt Disney World’s monorail route stops will be altered on select days as the resort continues to upgrade its infrastructure. On days when work is being done, the Resort Monorail will only travel between from the Polynesian Village Resort, the Grand Floridian, and Magic Kingdom. Meanwhile, the Express Monorail will add a stop at the Contemporary Resort on its journey from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdo, thus all stations will still be in service during maintenance times. However, Disney advises that guests may notice a difference in the way they board the monorails and should allow for additional travel time to reach their destinations. These altered routes will be in effect May 16th and 17th, May 23rd and 24th and May 30th, 2017 from 11:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
