Pro Bowl in Orlando to Air on ABC and ESPN

When the National Football League’s Pro Bowl returns to Orlando in 2018, the game will be televised live on ESPN and simulcast on ABC for the first time. The annual matchup of AFC vs. NFC stars will begin at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Camping World Stadium.

In addition to airing on ESPN and ABC, ESPN Deportes will offer a Spanish-language production of the Pro Bowl and the game will be streamed live on the ESPN app.

This will be the first Pro Bowl telecast on ABC in 15 years. The network previously televised the game 22 times (1975-87 and 1995-2003), while ESPN has carried the game on 14 occasions – 1988-94, 2004-06, 2010 and 2015-17.

In addition to the Pro Bowl, ESPN has offered an ABC simulcast of its NFL Wild Card Playoff game since 2016.

“The Pro Bowl has become a fun, week-long event that celebrates the game of football and the NFL’s top players. We’re excited to return to Orlando to showcase the NFL’s best on ESPN and ABC,” said Burke Magnus, ESPN Executive Vice President, Programming Acquisitions and Scheduling.

ESPN’s Monday Night Football commentator team of Sean McDonough, Jon Gruden and reporter Lisa Salters will call the Pro Bowl. The game will be preceded by a special Postseason NFL Countdown pregame show on ESPN and ABC.

ESPN will also provide extensive coverage throughout 2018 Pro Bowl Week in Orlando, including AFC-NFC team practices, youth-focused football activities and other events at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.
