Changes Being Made at Hollywood Studios to Allow More Fireworks Viewing

In order to allow more viewing for the nighttime shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, such as Disney Movie Magic and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, there will be some modifications to Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away (aka The Star Wars Fashion Show). Starting June 16 the show will be using what are being called mobile performance platforms for the performance of the show. These platforms will be the stages for the show. These stages will be put in place each morning and removed from the park after the final performance of Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away each evening allowing the area that was formally used for the stage to be used for nighttime spectacular viewing.

In order to make this change, the show will not be performed until June 16.

UPDATE (6/12/17): The reopening of Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away has been delayed. While the show is still set to return sometime this summer, no new date has been announced yet.
