In a somewhat surprising move, three popular shops at Downtown Disney Anaheim are set to close. According to the Orange County Register and a Disneyland Resort spokesperson, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Ridemakerz, and Chapel Hats will be closing to make way for more dining in that part of the shopping district. The spokesperson also emphasized that the closures were not due to poor performance, just lack of space. As the Register reports, the trio of retailers are expected to close by the end of September.
