Earlier this year, Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp promoted that franchise’s fifth film by dressing up as his iconic Jack Sparrow character and surprising guests in Disneyland’s classic Pirates attraction. Not only did this cause a sensation within the park, but videos of the stunt quickly went viral online. Now, while appearing on the popular Graham Norton Show, Disney Legend Depp discussed what it was like to essentially portray an Audio-Animatronic and how fans reacted:
