The massively multiplayer online role playing game Marvel Heroes will be shutting down. In a report from Kotaku had a statement from Disney:
“We regret to inform our Marvel Heroes fans that we have ended our relationship with Gazillion Entertainment, and that the Marvel Heroes games will be shut down. We would like to sincerely thank the players who joined the Marvel Heroes community, and will provide any further updates as they become available.”
There is no word why the game is ending but players have noticed a lack of updates and technical glitches. It is unknown if Disney will seek out a new partner to replace the void in the video game marketplace.
