This morning, the nominees for the 2018 Golden Globes were announced. While Disney’s blockbusters were shutout for many of the top prizes, the company did manage to score a couple of film nominations (thanks to Coco) as well as a couple of TV honors. First, as mentioned, Coco picked up two nominations: one for Best Motion Picture, Animated and another for Best Original Song (“Remember Me”).

On the TV side of things, Black-ish was nominated for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy. Additionally, Anthony Anderson picked up a nomination for his role on the show. Anderson will compete in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy category while Freddie Highmore of The Good Doctor is in the running for Actor in a Television Series, Drama.

The 2018 Golden Globes will air Sunday, January 7th on NBC.
