Walt Disney World to Test Cashless Transactions at Animal Kingdom Lodge

Beginning February 12th, a Walt Disney World pilot program will turn Jambo House at Animal Kingdom Lodge cashless. During this test, all purchases and services at the resort will accept payments via MagicBands, credit cards, debit cards, Disney Gift Cards, and Disney Rewards Redemption Cards. In addition to MagicBands, other contactless payments services including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay will also be accepted. However, cash will still be used in some capacities: tips will still be accepted in cash and guests can make cash deposits at the front desk to activate hotel charging privileges.
