At a Kingdom Hearts fan event at the 2018 D23 Expo Japan, new information was given regarding the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts III.
The world of Monstropolis from Monsters Inc. was revealed as part of the game. The trailer shows Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their monster forms. We also get a look at some new Keyblade attacks.
Another piece of news was that international superstar Utada Hikaru has a new theme song for the game. A song trailer for “Don’t Think Twice” was also released.
Kingdom Hearts III is scheduled for release in 2018. It is expected that further details will be released at E3 this summer.
