Paris’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to Become Marvel Ride

As Disney CEO Bob Iger recently teased during the company’s Q1 earnings call, the Disneyland Resort Paris will be getting some attractions based on popular Disney-owned IP. One of those attraction was just announced at the D23 Expo Japan as plans to transform the current Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith in Walt Disney Studios Park into a Marvel ride were unveiled. When work is completed, the attraction promises to be a “high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure where guests will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers.” Word of this planned injection of Marvel comes ahead of the resort’s Marvel Summer of Heroes starting this June. Additionally, Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is set to debut in 2020.
