New Details of Pixar Pier Including Jessie’s Critter Carousel Released

Disney has released some new details of Pixar Pier, the new name for the former Paradise Pier. Here are some fun facts:

First, King Triton’s Carousel will be re-themed to Jessie’s Critter Carousel. This, combined with Toy Story Mania, will anchor the Toy Story neighborhood of Paradise Pier. The carousel will not open with Pixar Pier, but will be a future addition in 2019. Guests will be able to ride a selection of turtles, snakes, buzzards, armadillos, bunnies, deers, raccoons, rams, skunks or one of two cozy logs inhabited by a family of owls.

Also in the Toy Story Neighborhood, Don Tomas Turkey Legs will be re-themed to the Poultry Palace

Spanish-mode Buzz Lightyear is hosting a churro cart.

The Incredibles neighborhood will be headlined by the previously announced Incredicoaster. The “scream tunnels” will no longer just contain noise, but will include storytelling elements such as Mrs. Incredible trying to grab Jack-Jack.

Joining Bullseye Stallion Stampede will be three new Pixar-themed Games of the Boardwalk. Casey at the Bat has become Hemilch Candy Corn Toss while Dumbo’s Bucket Brigade has transformed into Wall-E Space Spin. Finally Goofy About Fishing is the La Luna Star Catcher. The gameplay of each game remains, but the storytelling and prizes have been refreshed

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff is a new confectionary inspired by the character from Inside Out

Treasures in Paradise is becoming Knick’s Knacks.

Paradise Pier Ice Cream Company, formerly Catch-a-Flave, is being turned into Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats. Yes, it will sell lemon-flavored items.

Also from Inside Out is the new Angry Dogs hotdog stand. More info on the Inside Out Neighborhood is expected in the future.

Pixar Pier opens June 23, 2018
