In case you didn’t hear, tickets for Avengers: Infinity War went on sale bright and early this morning as the latest trailer hit the web. Six hours later, it had become the best-selling superhero film in terms of first-day advanced ticket sales on Fandango. Deadline reports the film beat out recent record holder Black Panther for the honor and, as mentioned, it topped that massive hit film in a quarter the 24 hours counted toward Panther‘s sales.
Fandango also took a survey of those buying their Avengers tickets this morning, which led to some interesting discoveries. Among them, 60% of respondents said seeing Black Panther made them more excited for Infinity War. Also notable, 87% said they’d seen all of the MCU film leading up to this.
