The United States Navy Band is about to set out on tour and has selected the community off Lake Buena Vista for one of their performances. The Band will host a concert at Disney Springs on the Marketplace Stage.
What’s happening:
- The United States Navy Band will be setting out on a tour of nine cities in four states and has selected Lake Buena Vista as one of their locations.
- One part of the Navy’s outreach program, is to visit communities and provide family-friendly entertainment through the Navy Band. Guests will be able to enjoy the musical stylings of the Navy’s premiere country-bluegrass ensemble, Country Current.
- Country Current will be performing a blend of modern country music and cutting-edge bluegrass displaying their versatility and phenomenal skills.
- The Navy Band will be performing at 7pm on Friday, September 7th on the Marketplace stage at Disney Springs.
- Anyone is welcome to attend the free concert and support our sailors.

- “One of the U.S. Navy Band’s primary responsibilities involves touring the country. All of the band’s primary performing units embark each year on concert tours throughout specified regions of the country, allowing the band to reach out to audiences in areas of the country that do not have opportunities to see the Navy’s premier musical ensembles on a regular basis. The concerts are family-friendly events, meant to be entertaining to veterans, families, individuals and those interested in joining the Navy.”
