Disney Parks Blog Gives First Look at Pixar Luxo Lamp Installed at Disney California Adventure

Although Pixar Pier officially debuted at Disney California Adventure this summer, the area has continued to add new details and surprises. Now, the Disney Parks Blog is giving us a first look at one such addition: the iconic Pixar Luxo Lamp.

• The lamp, which was featured in the short Luxo Jr. and has become a beloved part of the Pixar logo, has now been installed above the Pixar Pier sign.
• Guests can spot this bright little character in between Knick’s Knacks and the appropriately named Lamplight Lounge.
• Pixar Pier is home to attractions such as the Incredicoaster, the Pixar Pal-A-Round, Toy Story Midway Mania, and more.
• However, there’s still more to come — Jessie’s Critter Carousel and the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind are slated to debut in 2019.
