Adjustments Made to Magic Kingdom Entertainment for Holiday Specials Taping

Part of what makes the holiday television specials so wonderful is that they take place in Disney Parks. On November 9-11, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will be one of the filming locations for Disney’s upcoming holiday specials. As a result, some programing offerings will be adjusted.

Program changes are as follows:

  • Thursday, November 8
    • The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
  • Friday, November 9
    • The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
    • Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire will not perform on this day.
  • Saturday, November 10
    • The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
    • Shows not being presented this day include:
      • Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
      • A Frozen Holiday Wish
      • Once Upon a Time
  • Sunday, November 11
    • The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
    • Shows not being presented this day include:
      • Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
      • A Frozen Holiday Wish
      • Once Upon a Time

Additional Information:

  • The Flag Retreat takes place at 5:15 pm daily. On November 11 only, a special enhanced Flag Retreat will take place in honor of Veterans Day.
  • Fireworks and other special effects, such as holiday lighting on the castle, may be used as part of production performances.
  • Character set times and locations may be adjusted throughout the week.
  • The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History, will have adjusted showtimes throughout the week.
