Part of what makes the holiday television specials so wonderful is that they take place in Disney Parks. On November 9-11, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will be one of the filming locations for Disney’s upcoming holiday specials. As a result, some programing offerings will be adjusted.
What’s happening:
- Guests visiting Magic Kingdom on November 9-11 will notice that several program offerings at the Park will be adjusted as Disney films its upcoming holiday television specials.
Program changes are as follows:
- Thursday, November 8
- The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
- Friday, November 9
- The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
- Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire will not perform on this day.
- Saturday, November 10
- The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
- Shows not being presented this day include:
- Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
- A Frozen Holiday Wish
- Once Upon a Time
- Sunday, November 11
- The Welcome Show “Let the Magic Begin” will be audio only.
- Shows not being presented this day include:

Additional Information:
- The Flag Retreat takes place at 5:15 pm daily. On November 11 only, a special enhanced Flag Retreat will take place in honor of Veterans Day.
- Fireworks and other special effects, such as holiday lighting on the castle, may be used as part of production performances.
- Character set times and locations may be adjusted throughout the week.
- The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History, will have adjusted showtimes throughout the week.
