The Artist:

  • Focusing on the lighter side, Steven Harrington brings his wacky kaleidoscope creations to this legendary icon’s birthday. The LA based artist, cited as the leader of the contemporary Californian psychedelic-pop aesthetic, says that his bold, cartoonish style encourages a two-way conversation between artist and viewer.
  • The Mickey Mouse watch is a historic design that was one of the first pieces of merchandising for Disney way back in 1933. Since then there have been many takes on the Mickey Mouse timepiece and it only seemed right that such an iconic, colorful artist have a turn.
