Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the place to be if you’ll be celebrating Earth Day in Walt Disney World. The park’s annual Party for the Planet will be returning later this month, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

  • Party for the Planet will return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom April 20-22.
  • Guests will be invited to explore and engage in special family-friendly experiences and offerings.
  • Guests will be welcomed to the park by a large marine debris sculpture celebrating Disneynature Penguins.
  • There will also be several unique character appearances, special entertainment, and commemorative photo opportunities available throughout the park with Disney PhotoPass photographers.
  • Animal care experts, animal educators and conservation experts will meet with guests to explain just how much Disney does to care for animals and save endangered species.
  • Guests looking for a unique dining experience can attend Tiffin Talks with Walt Disney Imagineer and Portfolio Executive Joe Rohde.
  • This experience will include a unique conversation with the creative force behind Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as Rohde provides stories from his travels as guests enjoy a four-course lunch featuring global flavors, desserts and specialty beverages.
  • Tiffin Talks will be held April 20-22 from 1-3 PM and will cost $199 plus tax and gratuity.
  • Reservations for Tiffin Talks can be made today by calling 407 WDW-DINE.
  • Rohde will also be available to meet guests and sign his own artwork at the Mombasa Marketplace on April 20 and 22 from 10-11:30 AM.
  • Wristbands will be distributed with the purchase of Rohde’s artwork at the signing location and will be required to meet the Walt Disney Imagineer.

  • Rohde’s commemorative lion print will be available for purchase throughout the event while supplies last.
  • And of course, no special Disney event would be complete without special merchandise. The Mombasa Marketplace will have a special Hakuna Matata Spirit Jersey, Simba mug, Simba youth baseball hat and more on April 22.
