Pixar To Release “Soul” on June 19, 2020

This morning, Pixar announced on Twitter the title of their June 2020 film. One year from today, audiences will have the chance to set off on a new adventure when Soul hits theatres.

What’s happening:

  • Pixar has announced the name of their summer 2020 film will be, Soul. 
  • The studio shared the news via Twitter along with the first image.

About Soul:

  • “Ever wonder where your passion, your dreams and your interests come from? What is it that makes you… YOU? In 2020, Pixar Animation Studios takes you on a journey from the streets of New York City to the cosmic realms to discover the answers to life’s most important questions.”
  • Soul is directed by two-time Academy Award winner Pete Docter (Up, Inside Out) and produced by Academy Award nominee Dana Murray (“Lou” short).

More from Pixar:

  • Next spring, the studio will introduce an original tale Onward, a story about “two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there.”

Soul arrives in theatres on June 19, 2020
