Starting next week, ABC News will be presenting a new true crime podcast about Lester Eubanks called, Have You Seen This Man? Hosted by The View’s Sunny Hostin, this six-part series will include discussion and commentary from ABC News’ Matthew Mosk and Deputy U.S. Marshal David Siler.

About Lester Eubanks :
- In 1965, Eubanks was on bail waiting on a trial for sexual misconduct. During this time he shot and bludgeoned 14-year-old Mary Ellen Deener to death in Mansfield, Ohio.
- Eubanks confessed to the crime and after his conviction, was given a death sentence. While in prison, his sentence was eventually changed from the death penalty to life in prison.
- ABC notes that following “a series of shocking events, Eubanks received permission to embark on an unaccompanied ‘good behavior’ shopping trip just before Christmas in 1973.”
- While on this shopping trip, he slipped away and was never seen again.

- The U.S. Marshals have added Eubanks —who has now been on the run for over 45 years—to their 15 Most Wanted list.
- As the group searches for Eubanks, this new podcast will include reporting by:
- ABC News’ Senior Investigative Reporter Matthew Mosk
- Deputy U.S. Marshal David Siler
- The podcast is hosted by Sunny Hostin of ABC’s The View.
- The first two episodes will debut on Wednesday, October 23.
- In this new podcast, ABC News pulls back the curtain on Eubanks’ crimes and prison escape, featuring:
- Exclusive interviews with key players who knew both Eubanks and his victim
- Never-before-heard details of his prison escape
- The controversial program that led to that escape
- Interviews with people who encountered Eubanks – using various aliases – since he’s been on the run.
