Disney Springs Announces Tree Themes for 2019 Christmas Tree Trail

With Halloween out of the way, it’s now full steam ahead to Christmas (sorry, Thanksgiving defenders). While elements of the winter holiday can already be found around the resort, much more is on the way — including the return of the Christmas Tree Trail to Disney Springs on November 8th. Ahead of that date, Disney has released a full list of themes for this year’s tannenbaums.

What’s happening:

  • The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail will open to guests on November 8th and run through January 5th, 2020.
  • As in years past, the 2019 iteration will feature both new and returning trees themed to various Disney films, attractions, characters, and more.
  • Here’s the complete list for the 2019 Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail tree themes:
    • Walt Disney World Theme Parks
    • Mickey & Minnie Mouse
    • Beauty & the Beast
    • Sleeping Beauty
    • Aladdin
    • Frozen
    • The Princess & The Frog
    • The Little Mermaid
    • Mulan
    • Haunted Mansion
    • Snow White
    • Pinocchio
    • Toy Story
    • Disney Villains
    • Dumbo
    • Cinderella
    • Robin Hood
    • Star Wars
    • Peter Pan
    • Tangled
    • The Lion King
    • Mary Poppins
    • Fantasia
  • Of those, it seems that the Aladdin and The Lion King trees are new for this year — which makes some sense since both released remakes in theatres this year.
  • Additionally, while it’s not listed as such, it’s possible that the Frozen tree might contain elements of Frozen II (although this is just speculation)
  • As for what trees from last year won’t be back, sadly The Muppets is among the departed.

  • Interestingly, another non-returning tree theme is The Jungle Book, so it seems one Favreau-directed remake was swapped for another.

  • Also seemingly absent are trees for 101 Dalmations, Pluto, and Alice in Wonderland.

  • The Christmas Tree Trail officially returns to Disney Springs from November 8th until January 5th and is free to enter.
