Check Out the Latest Episode of “What’s Up, Disney+” Celebrating Women’s History Month

What’s Up, Disney+ had a new episode released on YouTube celebrating Women’s History Month.

What’s Happening:

  • What’s Up, Disney+ released a new episode celebrating Women’s History Month with hosts Andre Meadows and Jenny Lorenzo talking to Marvel New Media’s Sarah Amos, and the cast and technical team of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Raya and the Last Dragon.
  • Sarah Amos (VP Development and Production, Marvel New Media) oversees the development and production of nonfiction video and audio content for Marvel Entertainment. She served as an executive producer on the Disney+ series Marvel’s Hero Project and Marvel’s 616, as well as the original documentary, Marvel’s Behind the Mask.
  • Kelsey Hurley (Technical Supervisor, Walt Disney Animation Studios) served as Technical Supervisor on the short film, Inner Workings, as well as a number of other short films as part of Disney Animation’s Short Circuit Experimental Films program. She was also Associate Technical Supervisor on Ralph Breaks the Internet as well as Technical Director on Big Hero 6. Prior to these films, she was Assistant Technical Director on Wreck-It Ralph and Frozen.
  • Gabriela Hernandez (Associate Technical Supervisor, Walt Disney Animation Studios) was an Assistant Technical Director on Big Hero 6 and was also a Technical Director on Inner Workings, Zootopia, Moana, and Ralph Breaks the Internet.
  • Shweta Viswanathan (Associate Technical Supervisor, Walt Disney Animation Studios) joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2010 as an Assistant Technical Director on Wreck-It Ralph. She then went on to work as a Technical Director on Frozen and Big Hero 6, as well as on Moana. Prior to Raya and the Last Dragon, she was an Associate Technical Supervisor for Ralph Breaks the Internet.
