- Deadline has revealed that Ravi Mehta has joined The Walt Disney Company as the Head of Physical Production, Post-Production, VFX at 20th Century Studios.
- Have spent over two decades at Warner Bros. Ravi Mehta has a producing credit on several films including the Oscar-nominated Judas and the Black Messiah and A Star is Born (2018).
- Most recently, Ravi Mehta was the Executive Vice President of Production for Warner Max, a division of the studio that was making films for the HBO Max streaming service.
- Similar to Disney’s recent restructuring of their content creation division, Warner Bros. consolidated production responsibilities and announced that their entire 2021 theatrical release slate would debut day-and-date with movie theaters on HBO Max.
- 20th Century Studios has a number of films currently in production, including James Cameron’s sequels to Avatar.
